When you first come upon the school, you will notice that there are towers sprouting out of its beautiful structure. The towers are very high up and loom over the school grounds. Hogwarts is also filled with other rooms and, although not important to the educational system, are vital for the school's success.

Outside of the luminescent school of Hogwarts is yet another place set for adventure and excitement. The air around Hogwarts is clean and fresh, crispy even. The large grounds are occupied by many facilities, both for learning experiences as well as recreational purposes.

Seventh Floor
The entrance is behind a large painting of a Fat Lady in a pink silk dress in a corridor on the seventh floor. If you know the right password to tell her, she opens to reveal a round opening in the wall leading into the Gryffindor common room, which is the lowest floor of the tower. The common room has comfortable arm chairs, a fireplace, and several tables.

The Slytherin Common Room, A labyrinth of corridors separates this entrance from the stone staircase leading up to the Entrance Hall. Entrance is a hidden door in a blank stone wall, opens by password.

The location of the Ravenclaw Common Room is in the Ravenclaw Tower. Inside the common room holds a large fireplace, several tables, a few bookshelves to references, and several comfortable couches.

The Ministry of Magic is the government authority of the wizarding world. The basic mission of the Ministry is to keep the Muggles from finding out about an entire culture of magical folk. The Ministry of Magic consists of seven departments and is currently located, hidden, in Britain. There are a number of law enforcement agencies within the Ministry. They maintain order, enforce laws and regulations, deal with breaches of security, and operate Azkaban, the Wizard's Prison. The Ministry also maintains squads of Hit Wizards to deal with criminals and elite Aurors to track down Dark Wizards.

Founded in late 1500s or early 1600s by Mungo Bonham, St. Mungo's Hospital is the primary wizarding hospital in Britain. Located in an abandoned department store in London, the hospital's Healers treat wizards for all sorts of magic-related illnesses and injuries, and in extreme circumstances has been known to treat Muggles as well. The hospital's logo is a wand and a bone, crossed, and donations are welcome.
